Explore the core technical details and operational benefits of the Bowpeller Pump system.

The Cream of the Crop

Independent lab results show Bowpeller pumps deliver lower Acid Degree Value (ADV) than other centrifugal pumps. Bowpeller pumps have replaced larger pumps in cream applications, providing gentler, more efficient pumping with no foam and improved processing yield.

Gentle product handling

Bowpeller® pumps are the only pumps that are patented for “low shear” product handling; US patent 10,094,384B2. Lab results, published in patent, demonstrate lower Acid Degree Value (ADV) on raw milk when using Bowpeller pumps compared to other brand centrifugal pumps.

Long seal life

Cavitation during the wash cycle is the number one cause of current milk pump seal failure. The innovative design of Bowpeller® pumps ensures a lower NPSHr (requirement) that virtually eliminates cavitation during either milking or wash cycle. This results in long seal life that puts you in charge of planned maintenance.

No air locking

The Bowpeller® casing chamber and impeller design ensure air and air slugs pass through with no air binding.

Cleanability / Better CIP

Bowpeller® pump design ensures that you get high flows at higher heads. This means that you get high velocity flows that clean your system better than with any competitor pumps.

Low NPSHr (Net Positive Suction Head Required)

Designed to require minimal Net Positive Suction Head to prevent cavitation. The lower the NPSHr, the better your pump can perform.
